Tracie is passionate about New York City & Miami in general and real estate in specific; she is fascinated by the intricacies of the Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens and South Florida markets and loves helping to make an individual's transition into or out of a home a smooth and seamless one. A Florida native, Tracie has called New York her home since 1996, when she graduated from the University of Florida with degrees in Finance and English. Prior to commencing her career in real estate, Tracie worked as a consulting manager in Accenture's Capital Markets Group for seven years, advising senior executives on their company strategic initiatives, new business ventures, and global communications efforts.

Tracie feels especially blessed to be doing what she adores, and better yet, to be able to work with her younger sister Elizabeth Hamersley, who has been her partner in the Hamersley Team since the summer of 2004. Aided by four additional incredible teammates, Robert Falcone, Thuy Truong, Scott Hockenberger, and Amber Ortolano, Tracie and Elizabeth are able to provide 24/7 service to all their rental and sales clients and customers.

Named 2003 Rookie of the Year at her previous company, Tracie lived up to that promise to become the #1 selling agent and team at that firm from 2009 through 2012. She has also been designated one of the top 100 brokers in NYC by TopAgentGuide. Ranked ninth in Douglas Elliman company-wide for number of transactions in 2014, her top-producing team has garnered the prestigious Diamond and Platinum Circle awards in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2016. Additionally, Tracie holds her Florida broker's license, so she is doubly thrilled to be associated with Douglas Elliman, with its strong presence in both NYC and Miami, as she is both a Chelsea condo homeowner as of early 2009 and a specialist in the Miami Beach area, where she has owned an apartment and worked since 2005.

When not hard at work, Tracie enjoys traveling, running, kickboxing, golfing, volunteering, practicing her Spanish and singing karaoke, either with or without her championship league team.
